Seeking motivated, hardworking individuals to work as Assemblers, Soldering Technicians, QA, and Test Technicians for a premier client in the Buffalo Grove Area.  Our client is a premier manufacturer of electronics for a variety of industries primarily in the medical industry. Work Location:  Buffalo Grove, IL 60089

Monday to Friday Positions: (Over-time available)

Shift Hours:

·         1st: 5:45am-2pm or 6am-2:15pm

·         2nd: 2pm-10:15pm or 2:15pm to 10:30pm

 

Positions and Pay:

·         Assembler: $14.25 to $15.25   

·         Quality Assurance: $15.75 to $16.75

·         Soldering Technicians: $16 to $20

·         Rework Technicians: $20 to $22

·         Test Technician : $18.25 to $24

 

The ideal Electronic Assembler candidate would have some experience in:

·         Mechanical abilities, experience with reading blue prints or instructions.

·         Comfortable with using hand tools such as screw drivers, power drills, and torque wrenches. Experience with Troubleshooting.

·         Proficient with computers to look-up and document information into a database or send emails to customers.

 

The ideal Soldering Technician candidate would have some experience in:

·         PCB Board soldering experience, Circuit Board Testing, Troubleshooting

·         Thru-Hole & Surface Mount Soldering, Blueprint / Schematic reading

·         Proficient with using a computer to look- up and document information, send emails.

·         Responsible for inspecting and soldering components to customer specified requirements.

·         Prepare and assemble electronic components to Printed Circuit Boards, must be able to perform under a microscope while using small hand tools, such as tweezers, soldering iron, hotplate and reflow solder; monitors work-in-process or completed work, may need to disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble according to specifications and under simulated conditions. Following work orders, instructions and standard operating procedures.

 

The ideal Rework Technician candidate would have some experience in:

·         The Rework Technician will perform efficient, effective, and highly reliable surface mount micro-component replacement and repairs to a wide variety of electronic circuit boards and other devices.

·         This individual must have been trained and certified in IPC-A-610 or equivalent soldering standard and have 3 years of experience in lead and lead-free soldering repair of micro surface mount industrial electronics to component level.

·         Use microscope and soldering equipment to add/remove small components on printed circuit boards, soldering of wires, and PCB repair. 

 

The ideal Test Technician candidate would have some experience in:

 ·         Experience of least 1 year is required for this position, assuming education requirements are met.  Equivalent industry experience of 1 or more years is highly desirable.

  • Electronic background and experience troubleshooting at the component level.  
  • Experience using oscilloscopes and multimeter.
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
  • A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience is required for this position.
