Slapfish is a fast casual seafood restaurant that serves responsible and sustainably sourced food. It is an exciting and fresh new concept here in Northern Virginia! We are looking for passionate people who share a commitment for great food and quality. We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team.

Opening Duties and Procedures:
- Check that entrance for establishment is clear of all outside debris.
- Ensure bathrooms are cleaned and fully stocked with necessary products: hand soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Organize and clean cash wrap area.
- Check that trash bins are emptied of all debris and lined with new garbage bags.
- Restock all service stations with napkins, condiments, utensils, and sauces.
- Ensure the canned/boxed/bottled beverages are fully stocked in the cooler and are neatly organized.
- Ensure the fountain soda stations are cleaned, refilled, and fully operable.
- Turn on any necessary electronics to appropriate channel and volume (TV, music).
- Turn on all lights and ensure all lights are in working order (no burnt bulbs).
- Clean all the floors, windows, tables, and chairs of any debris or spills and neatly arrange furniture (both indoors and outdoors).
- Update daily specials and pricing.
- Turn on POS system and organize/count cash drawers.
- Perform any other opening duties at the request of the manager on duty.


Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet customers upon entering the establishment, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Answer phones in a timely and professional manner.
- Be an expert on all products and offerings, including specials of the day and pricing.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout guest visits. This includes: delivering food in a timely manner, checking for orders are accuracy, accommodating any needs they have during their visit, addressing any questions or concerns, bussing tables during and after their visit, and welcoming guests back again.
- Empty garbage bins and refill garbage bag liners periodically.
- Refill napkins, condiments, utensils and sauces as needed.
- Refill bathroom supplies and tidy as needed.
- Upkeep the cleanliness of the establishment during all operational hours.

Closing:
- Sweep and clean the establishment floors.
- Clean and wipe down all tables, chairs and other furniture and equipment.
- Wipe down sauce bottles and discard any empty bottles.
- Break down and sanitize fountain drink machines.
- Refill any necessary paper products or supplies to assist in preparation for the following day.
- Check with the manager on duty for any additional closing duties.
