This position is responsible for supporting the execution of specific brand/product marketing programs in the areas of consumer promotion advertising brand innovation special events and to provide analytical support to upper levels of brand management in the areas of trend analysis sales analysis and syndicated research analysis while adhering to established strategies within the business unit.

  • Participates in the development of the annual brand/product plans by providing analysis in the areas of consumer trends competitive intelligence syndicated information and secondary research
  • Manages and executes assigned brand/product marketing programs to budget in the areas of consumer promotion advertising product innovation trade co-marketing special events local market activities and sales contests
  • Leads the management of specific brand/product or groups of brands/products as directed
  • Provides on-going analytical support to upper brand/ product management in the areas of sales forecasts demand planning budgeting and brand profitability
  • Conducts research appropriate to the brand/product as assigned by upper brand management in the areas of consumer trade and competition
  • Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission values code of ethics policies and other standards of conduct
Qualifications

Education: MBA required.

Years of Related Experience: Typically has a minimum 4 years related experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • PC skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook products.
  • Knowledge of company and group products policies and processes along with analytical and communication skills required.
  • Experienced in selling-in new products brand leadership strategies and consumer insights gained through experience at national retailers.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing as well as the ability to work across the organization to utilize leverage and establish synergies.
  • Understanding of new product process and track record of successful product innovation leadership; ability and demonstrated experience in managing P&L to ensure delivery of business goals; strong marketer who understands how to leverage insights into positioning branding communication and innovation; highest integrity in keeping with company values.
