About this job
We have an opening for a Home Health Aide to provide care for my dad at his residence. You will be tasked with helping dad with personal hygiene, minor medical needs, housekeeping, and other daily needs as required by him. To excel in this role you should have an interest in health care and the ability to work with limited supervision keeping dad's needs as your top priority.
Home Health Aide Responsibilities:
•Help with personal hygiene and other daily tasks.
•Maintain home care records that include any changes in his doctor’s orders, diet or personal living activities.
•Assist with administering medication based on doctor’s orders.
•Help with meals preparation and grocery shopping, as well as basic housekeeping functions
•Make transportation arrangements as needed.
•Deliver weekly/monthly reports of important changes in his conditions.
Home Health Aide Requirements:
•Experience in the home healthcare field
•High school diploma.
•Exceptional patient service skills
•Current and valid HHA or CNA certification.
•Able to lift up to 50 pounds
•Ability to work with limited supervision.
•Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
•Nursing experience preferred
