Mechanical Assembler Openings! - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is IMMEDIATELY hiring 5+ Mechanical Assemblers for a client supporting the ERTT (Engine Room Test Trainer) Program on the Naval Weapons Station in Charleston, SC. These openings offer competitive pay, consistent hours and have immediate start dates.

Job Qualifications:

• 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience (Machinist Mate is similar)
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints
• Proficient in the identification of fastening hardware sizes and correct application to identified requirements
• Proficient in use of general hand tools (Drills, Grinders, Rivet Tools, Calipers, Micrometers)
• Must have own tools (Wrenches, Sockets, Pliers, Screwdrivers, Calipers, Measuring Tapes, etc)
• Able to work independently and in a fast paced environment
• Able to lift minimum of 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for a minimum of 7 hours per day
• Experience with all types of materials (aluminum, steel, fiberglass, composites)
