Medline Industries, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Inventory Control Analyst located in our Northfield, IL Corporate Office. The Inventory Control Analyst will u pdate information on system to maintain accurate inventory records. – This position monitors all error queues and troubleshoots issues that are identified.
Requirements:
- Production Management – Manages production orders for branches handling furniture items. Create orders and follows up to make sure they are received. Runs routine maintenance monthly.
- RPK Changes – Reviews repack box and changes strategies accordingly. Sends out notifications to the branches.
- Item Set-Ups – Review item set up questions from the IC field staff. Recommends solutions and engages divisions as necessary to resolve.
- Work IC Mailbox – This will include repack, item changes, and item set up.
- Branch Workflow – Works branch workflow for assigned branches. Reaches out to field staff as necessary to resolve and coaches branches on errors to prevent occurrences.
- Inventory synchronization (ZINV) – Works branch ZINV for assigned branches. Engages WMS helpdesk as needed to resolve issues.
- Identify Hard to Pick Items – Works with branches to code hard to pick (HTP) items and upload pictures.
- Item Change –Handles item change requests from item master data.
- Works material status report by identifying items adjusted as the wrong part number and contacting the branches to resolve.
Requirements:
- College degree or the equivalent in work related experience
- At least 3 years’ experience in reviewing SAP and Catalyst or similar WMS inventory transactions
- Intermediate skill level in SAP and Catalyst/WMS.
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling). Ability to create pivot tables, do v look ups and create Macros.
- Detail oriented and proven problem solving skills.
