What You’ll Be Doing
- Answering questions quickly and correctly regarding all aspects of the restaurant and the hotel
- Effectively working the phones with a pleasant yet professional tone of voice
- Maintaining control of the seating flow within the restaurant (maximizing every server’s section evenly)
- Estimating wait times for guests
- Making reservations and accommodating guest needs
What You Need for this Position
- Effectively communicate to the guest
- Excellent customer service skills
- TIPS certifiable
- Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more
- Able to stoop and bend
- Occasionally able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment
- Able to comply with safety and health code standards
- Able to handle responsibilities that require repetitive motion tasks
