Responsibilities
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As a Studio Technician II the candidate will be responsible for working advanced crew positions including audio, technical directing, Chyron Duet-Camio, for live nightly format programming for Comcast SportsNet. Candidate will also work in a variety of crew positions including but not limited to Robo-Cam/video, stage manager, Hand Held camera, videotape, etc. as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Technical directs studio programs for NBC Sports Washington.
- Coordinates the technical preparation of the crew and prepare reports regarding the readiness and condition of production equipment.
- Assists producer and/or director in setting up in-studio productions including lighting, placement of cameras, running cables location of microphones, color balancing of cameras, etc.
- Strong knowledge of Sony production switchers (Model 8000)
- Experience with Calrec audio boards and how they function.
- Working knowledge of Robotic camera controls.
- Assist in the coordination of talkbacks and live shots for various news related programs
- Perform other related duties as required. Must be willing to working a flexible schedule.
- Knowledge of INews.
Qualifications/Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS degree in related field.
3 years television production experience required. Experience with live television news/sports formats strongly desired.
Working knowledge of all studio positions and studio production a plus
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Experience with live remote feeds with audio mix-minus set up required.

Ability to produce multiple projects from inception to completion and do so independently.
Ability to take direction and constructive criticism. Ability to teach various skills to new staff/interns.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. Must be willing to submit to a background investigation.
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
Must be 18 years or older.
