Express Employment Professionals is searching for a full-time Grounds Technician for a client of ours in Omaha, NE.
Schedule: Hours vary
Grounds Technician Daily Duties:
- General ground maintenance/manual labor as required
- Perform less skilled duties using hand tools such as pick and shovel
- Operate power tools such as weed eaters, lawn mowers, etc.
- Remove snow, mow lawns, pick up trash and any other yard work asked
- Operate lawn maintenance equipment such as small tractors, riding mowers, etc.
- Ability to read and write in order to be able to understand instructions and prepare daily activity logs
- Ability to follow safety rules and regulations while working in heavy traffic areas
- Occasionally confer with customers regarding service problems and report information obtained to supervisor
- Regular and punctual attendance
Grounds Technician Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Six months experience in an industrial setting
- Candidates must be able to safely lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to perform some duties independently with general supervision
