Schedule: There are different shifts available and the hours do vary
Diesel Mechanic Duties:
- Repair and maintain diesel engines used to power machines such as buses, trucks, electric generators, and construction machinery
- Use hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and machine tools
- Diagnose trouble, disassemble engines, and examine parts for defects and excessive wear
Diesel Mechanic Qualifications:
- Routinely lift 20 to 50 lbs
- 1-3 years of experience
