Staffmark is hiring experienced Inventory Control Clerks for our growing client that serves the needs of Publishers, Merchandisers and Retailers with innovative product, service and technology offerings. It combines print, e-services, warehousing, fulfillment and supply chain management to increase speed to market, reduce costs, and improve efficiencies. These Inventory Control Clerk's positions give you the opportunity to get hired on by our customer after 90 days of work!
JOB SUMMARY:
Perform routine but varied clerical duties on the manufacturing floor in accordance with standard procedures. Provide clerical support by recording, entering and verifying data from a variety of sources and documents. Maintain records, compile standard reports, file, tabulate, and performing routine clerical tasks related to manufacturing. Apply knowledge of department policies and procedures, and utilizes a general understanding of other department's functions. May be responsible for data entry, reporting, checking or verifying of information, generation of reports and responding to data requests. Responsible for maintaining department files. 1st and 2nd shift positions available.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Work in Logistics related computer programs specific to the operations (FMS, MTC, EMT and Dock Watch, etc.) Experience in MTC/HK is a plus.


Performs product/pallet breakdowns and distribution of final quantities as directed for manufacturing purposes.



Performs physical searches of facility storage in an effort to locate missing freight.


Use of PIV (hoist) to move containers of production WIP across facility as needed.



Provides data for Inventory reconciliation reports for post pool metrics reporting.



Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures.



Follows all Standard Operating Procedures.



Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.



Maintains a clean and organized production floor and assists in keeping production lines cleared of waste stock.

Requirements

�Strong Computer Skills - Proficient in Excel,
Word,Gmail and Google Docs. Familiarity with
AS400 and inventory controls systems a plus.
�Solid ability to communicate at all levels of an
organization from manufacturing floor personnel
up through Senior Management.
�Must be able to perform basic math as it relates
to piece counts, production run rates and
machine counts.
�Good organizational skills required.
�Ability to work in a team environment required!
�Ability to read, understand and carry out
written instructions.
�Ability to understand and follow verbal
instructions.
�Ability work with limited direction, multi-task
and be proactive.
�Must be able to work assigned shift with weekend
rotation required. Overtime will be required as
needed.
�Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
�Ability to stand for several hours at a time.
