Inventory Control Clerk - Full-time / Part-time

Staffmark is hiring experienced Inventory Control Clerks for our growing client that serves the needs of Publishers, Merchandisers and Retailers with innovative product, service and technology offerings. It combines print, e-services, warehousing, fulfillment and supply chain management to increase speed to market, reduce costs, and improve efficiencies. These Inventory Clerk Positions give you the opportunity to get hired on by our customer after 90 days!
JOB SUMMARY:
Perform routine but varied clerical duties on the manufacturing floor in accordance with standard procedures. Provide clerical support by recording, entering and verifying data from a variety of sources and documents. Maintain records, compile standard reports, file, tabulate, and performing routine clerical tasks related to manufacturing. Apply knowledge of department policies and procedures, and utilizes a general understanding of other department's functions. May be responsible for data entry, reporting, checking or verifying of information, generation of reports and responding to data requests. Responsible for maintaining department files.

SOME OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INVENTORY CLERK INCLUDE:

*Ensure Inventory accuracy

*Inventory and shortage reconciliation

*Maintain proper inventory flow

*Partnering with manufacturing plants to ensure timely delivery of product needed for weekly product pools

*Maintain and manage quality holds in overflow departments

*Manage various inventory control reports and send out updates as required

*Cross-Train in all areas and responsibilities of the IC Department

*Coordinate deliveries of return freight to production facilities

*Manual breakdown of production product to meet production line requirements

*Fulfill requests of line operators for inventoried freight needed to run equipment

*Physically search facility and production lines for missing freight

*Assist in improving and developing processes and procedures when necessary
