Responsibilities and Duties
The primary job of our swim instructors is to provide the highest quality swimming lessons possible and ensure the safety of every individual who enters our program. However, instructors also have additional responsibilities:
- Maintain consistent attendance
- Attend mandatory training and instructor development
- Evaluate students regularly
- Complete daily shift tasks
- Work with team members towards the goal of creating life-long swimmers
Qualifications and Skills
- Prior experience working with children
- 18 years old and a high school diploma or equivalent
- Work at least 2 shifts, including 1 evening and 1 weekend OR 2 weekend
- Have or be willing to receive CPR, first aid, and AED certification
- Provide three character references
