Responsible for coding and billing related activity for Spine Division (6 adult spine surgeons) including assisting physicians and nurses with coding prior to surgery and following surgery; support billing team in charge capture, charge release and edits. The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at New York-Presbyterian seeks an Advanced Spine Coding Specialist to join an innovative academic program with a high volume multi-specialist orthopedic spine surgeon practice. Our rapidly growing division requires the recruitment of an advanced spine coding specialist to collaborate with surgeons, clinical teams and the orthopedic billing team to obtain accurate reimbursement and documentation for healthcare claims.
