Looking for polite, knowledgeable employee to serve in a country club setting and enjoys learning club member names, their habits, and preferences while working in a team environment. Servers are responsible for: providing prompt and friendly food and beverage service to all club members and their guests; communicate effectively with co-workers and management; assist co-workers and accept assistance from co-workers during service in order to provide the best service possible to our guests. This position is part time, but can move into a full time position.   Minimum Qualifications:          Stand 6-8 hours         Lift up to 30 pounds         Be able to stoop, carry, bend, and climb stairs         Frequent hand-washing         Good hearing for receiving accurate information         Basic Computer skills         Command of English language         Able to work as a team member   Expectations:          Respectful         Limited use of cell phone and electronics during operating hours         Willingness to learn         Trustworthy         Able to create relationships with staff and club members         Club member first mentality         Adhere to attendance policy         Flexible schedule   Responsibilities:          Believes in and follows standards and expectations         Clock in and report to manager in full uniform each shift on time         Perform dining room set up, side work, and closing duties         Sell guests by communicating with extensive product knowledge         Follow service procedures         Compute guest checks and operate POS efficiently         Take breaks only when there is coverage and during non busy times         Keep a clean and professional appearance at all times         Must have valid Indiana Alcohol Permit and have passed testing         Is aware of and abides by Indiana liquor service laws         Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors   Indy Star.
