Hourly Job Description
General Description:
Serve fast casual restaurant customers by taking orders and payment, preparing food, and maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant.
Duties:
- Ring on the register by listening to a customer’s order and accurately entering it in the system.
- Prepare food in the back of house using proper sanitation and demonstrated techniques
- Cook on the fryer
- Collect food to complete an order
- Deliver the food to the customer and meet their needs and requests
- Clean the kitchen area, lobby, and exterior
Necessary Capabilities
- Must be able to use technology for the register, phone, and tablet to take orders
- Must be able to calculate math for cash transactions and inventory control
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
- Must be able to stay on feet for over 8 hours within state guidelines for break periods
- Must be able to take direction from a supervisor
- Must be able to work on a team and cooperate with others
- Must be willing to be trained
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency through standardized evaluation and testing
- Must be able to work any day of the week
