Will oversee venue safety, guest experience, and positive employee culture.

Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities:

•	Ensure that all procedures, equipment needs and safety protocols are met consistently.
•	Train customers in proper throwing techniques so they learn how to throw to the best of their ability to have a safe and unforgettable experience.
•	Ensure the facility, lanes and equipment are always event-ready and the sessions are flowing smoothly.
•	Support Flying Axes team to get the job done and create a positive work environment.
•	Be the face of Flying Axes and represent our brand and passion for the sport of axe throwing.
•	Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
•	Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service always. Engage in customer recovery process when needed.
•	Achieve company objectives in safety, sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
•	Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with Flying Axes policies and procedures.
•	Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing staff. 
•	Assist General Manager to ensure that policies on employee performance appraisals are followed and completed on a timely basis.
•	Audit coaching performance on a daily basis.

Job Benefits

Qualifications:

•	Be 21 years of age.
•	Leadership and management experience in the hospitality industry is preferred. 
•	A people person; has excellent communications skills, speaks with authority while maintaining a good sense of humor; genuinely likes being around people.
•	Can motivate employees by empowerment, listening, and making each individual feel his/her work is important.
•	Is someone people generally like working for and with.
•	Is a good judge of talent and can articulate the strengths/limitations of people.
•	First aid certified is a plus.
•	Can work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
•	Can reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift to 50 pounds.
•	Must have the stamina to work 50 to 60 hours per week.
•	Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of valid insurance.  
•	Must be available to work a flexible shift including weekends.
