Job Responsibilities:

• Contacts, communicates with, and recruits providers to join plan provider networks; Recruits in accordance with company standards in order to maintain and enhance provider networks.
• Contacts providers by telephone, mail, or in person to solicit participation in the network.
• Explains the network and its requirements for participation; answers questions and communicates benefits of joining the network.
• Responds to and resolves provider questions, requests for information, and contractual interpretation inquiries.
• Reviews provider credentialing applications for completion.
• Maintains accurate provider information in the database.
• May perform research, rate analysis.
• Performs other duties as required.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous related business or health care experience required, preferably in provider contracting, provider relations or provider credentialing capacity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with desktop software applications such as e-mail, Word and Excel.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay rate: $20.00/hr.

Start Date: 12/4/17

End Date: 6/3/18
