Kelly Services is seeking skilled MIG Welders to join Caterpillar, an industry leading company in Wamego, KS as a full-time employee! Opportunities on 1st and 2nd shifts with pay ranging from $14-17.25/h!

This position requires a mechanically-inclined mind and the ability to set up all types and sizes of units, as well as weld them.

As a welder at this company, you'll be working in one and two-person weld stalls, welding together fabricated piece parts by using semi-automatic MIG welders. You will use a weld gauge to measure welds.

Requirements

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Blueprint Reading
  • Weld to 1E99 spec
  • Weld on flat and horizontal surfaces
  • Welding together fabricated piece parts by using semi-automatic MIG welders and .045 solid wire
  • Work environment: one or two-person stalls, 50lb lifting restriction, hoist and chain rolling of units

The company will also provide you with your own Personal Protection Equipment (PPE): Metatarsal guard steel-toed boots, welding leathers, gloves, auto dark helmet, safety glasses, and any other equipment needed.

Limited relocation expenses are offered for applicants who live over 100 miles away and will be relocating.

Candidates must have previous MIG welding experience with multiple pass MIG welding, and must be willing to work 1st or 2nd shift.
