RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist Site Manager with the following responsibilities:

Problem Solving

• Every day is different with new challenges to solve.

• Solve Mechanical issues including Air lines leaking, Water leaks, Electrical shorts, and Hydraulic leaks.

• Solve Computer malfunctions including servers, terminals, software and hardware.

• Solve Customer issues including service complaints and damage claims.

• Solve Employee issues including hiring, motivation, following policy and procedure, discipline, scheduling, complaints and team building.

People Management

• Creating a great team and keeping them happy is a key to success.

• Finding and hiring Great Employee team members.

• Train, coach and lead. It is an ongoing process followed up with monthly team meetings.

• Making employee schedules

• Coaching and reviewing employee individual performance on a regular basis.

• Educate and insure policies and procedures are followed including safety at all times.

• Instill great customer service.

• Keep employees happy, safe and stable.

• Ensure labor laws are always followed.

Grow Customer Satisfaction

• Create great friendly customer service. Getting high Mystery Shopper scores and on social media will tell you how well you are doing.

• Goal is to keep customers happy and coming back. Increasing sales and profits will confirm your team’s great service.

Paying attention to details

• Having an eye for detail and looking for potential problems before they occur.

• Throughout the day inspect and ensure all cars coming out of the wash tunnel come out clean, shiny and dry at all times. Quality and consistency is what makes success.

• All equipment including wash equipment, nozzles, sprayers, soaps, auto sentries, and computers should be working at all times if possible. Do first line repairs, if possible. Call and ensure techs complete all other repairs.

• Order and keep track of all parts, especially critical parts. Being proactive and anticipate before problems occur keeps down time to a minimum.

• Everything should be orderly at all times including wash, vacuum stalls, equipment room, rest rooms and offices. Schedule and ensure preventative maintenance is always done.

• Entire wash facility should be clean, neat, organized and professional at all times.

• Check daily inventory of soaps, anticipate usage and order as necessary.

• Think of and try out creative ways to increase sales and keep costs in line. Being a self-starter and self-motivated will propel you to greatness, rewards and satisfaction for yourself and your team.

• Oversee entire car wash operation

• Serve as the main contact with repair technicians, suppliers, employees and customers.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

• A High School diploma/GED equivalent. College education or occupational training is a plus

• Must possess four years of proven leadership ability to mentor and train others

• Must possess an energetic, outgoing, customer oriented personality

• Works well under pressure

• Excellent communication skills

• Great management skills & leadership ability

• Valid state issued driver’s license

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

• 40+ Hours a week.

• Willing to relocate

• Ability to lift 25-35 pounds, kneel down, and stand for long periods of time
