The Sales Business Development Associate is responsible for establishing relationships and securing contracts with new customers to achieve assigned sales quotas and targets. Works with leadership to plan and execute lead generating campaigns, provide feedback to sales management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending additional concessions. Foster strong relationships with third party and partner companies required to deliver full service experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 2+ years of hotel sales experience
• Ability to drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales
• Maintain a high level of relevant property/hotel knowledge in order to have meaningful dialogue with prospects
• Strong understanding of negotiation and interpretation of contracts
• Business communication skills written and verbal
• Present a professional appearance and confidence
• Proactive sales approach, assertive and fast paced, driven to succeed
• Execute and support Hotel Customer Service Standards and Hotel’s Brand Standards
• Understanding of market segments, competitors strengths, weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand
