Job Description:

Purpose

This position reports to the Senior Director of Creative leading the management and optimization of projects and process. Act as the primary Creative Services contact for project planning and deliverable coordination, vendor relations, project estimates and project status. Partner with the Content Manager, Design Managers and Senior Photographer daily with tracking and evaluating the progress, delivery and placement of all design and photography assets. Attention to detail and organization are a must with this position which is responsible for the review and management of budgets associated with vendor services, creative projects and other fiscal responsibilities.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven problem-solving and team building skills
  • Computer skills and experience with software that includes Microsoft Office Suite (MAC OS and Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus)
  • Experience managing creative timelines, client expectations, budgets and work flow
  • Must be detail oriented and organized
  • Must possess excellent communication skills and work well under pressure while providing solutions
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, enforce process/procedures and work in a fast-paced environment
Essential Job Functions
  • Has the ability to manage, communicate and maintain brand standards, uphold processes and participate in strategic development
  • Clear communicator that facilitates projects, timelines and managing projects to completion within expected parameters of time and budget
  • Brings a background of understanding the creative industry, design based projects/production, while managing challenging timelines and budget considerations
  • Manages schedules, budgets, track project status, invoices and own the production process for each project
  • Communicates and interacts with designers daily to ensure work and deliverables are on track for presentation to client and other stake holders with a heavy focus on process and on-time delivery
  • Works with departmental management to determine which creative resources are available and best suited to be assigned to upcoming projects
  • Assists in sourcing freelance or full-time employees and other resources or tools for the creative department to complete projects in the given timeframe
  • Establishes systems to facilitate onboarding of new creatives and freelancers to company/departmental process, procedures, brand guidelines and SOPs, PTO, ordering computers, managing software and other department operational needs
  • Continuously evaluate processes for efficiencies, as well as, assist with product orders, shipping and delivery of materials to vendors for photography
  • Manages and maintains all Creative Department documents, marketing assets, brand guidelines, departmental SOPs and any other relevant documents provided
  • Assists in developing, enforcing and maintaining protocols and libraries
  • Ensures a desirable atmosphere and comfortable work environment within the creative department and works closely with upper management to identify and suggest solutions on how to improve departmental and team morale
Working Conditions (travel, environment)
  • Limited travel required including air and car travel
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.
Physical/Sensory Requirements

Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
