A&P Mechanic

Job Qualifications:

A&P Mechanic experienced working in a prototype environment doing aircraft fabrication and assembly. Capable of reading and understanding drawings and schmatics. Also capable of working from sketches and verbal instructions. Experienced in metal and carbon fiber fabrication and assembly. Candidate will also have experience working/testing engines/motors for aircraft. Capable of inspecting and qualifying parts and assemblies for flight operations. Experienced supporting ground and flight testing of prototype aircraft. Capable of using shop hand tools to complete their assignments. Experienced working with avionics a plus.

Specific Responsibilities:

Candidate will be responsible for working from instructions and drawings to fabricate aircraft parts and assemblies leading to completion of prototype aircraft, Integration and support for flight testing will also be required.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 5 years' experience working with aircraft. Candidate will have a current FAA A&P license. AS degree or equivalent schooling. History of working in a fastpaced operation where attention to detail is required. Required to work with minimal instruction and supervision.

Physical Requirements:

Capable of working on their feet or working in tight quarters for long periods of time to complete their work. Capable of bending over to do their work. Capable of lifting 50 lbs. when needed.

Shift Requirements:

Day shift with overtime possible.
