RASM-E is a diverse program located in Fort Bragg, NC; Hunter AAF, Savannah, GA; Fort Belvoir, VA; Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD: Ft. Drum, NY and West Point, NY. This position will be at the Fort Bragg site.

We are looking for an individual that is a self-starter, organized and detail oriented. This position requires the individual to work in all weather conditions. Specific duties include:

Shop supervisor. Directly responsible for assigning workload/priorities. Maintain shop records, property book, and TMDE items. Participate in production meetings.

Remove and install aircraft subsystem assemblies and components such as rotor heads, swashplates, mechanical flight controls and their components.

Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems.

Perform scheduled inspections and assist in performing special inspections on prop and rotor components.

Perform limited maintenance operations checks and diagnose and troubleshoot prop and rotor systems using special tools and test equipment as required.

Use and perform operator maintenance on tools, special tools and aircraft ground support equipment.

Apply comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate problems by interpreting technical documentation such as aircraft Technical manuals, Maintenance Information, Action Messages, and all technical guidance provided through government official representatives.

Lead RESET, PMI/PMS, and Depot level maintenance tasks as required.

Provide technical assistance as required to Team Leads and Production Supervisors.

Working Conditions: May be required to work in areas that are noisy, dusty, and dirty. May be exposed to moderate discomforts, such as heat, cold and wind. This position requires normal physical functions. Work may require frequent bending, reaching and climbing. Work may be performed on top or under equipment in cramped or awkward positions. May frequently lift and carry items weighing up to fifty pounds and occasionally lift heavier items with the assistance of other workers.

Will be required to comply with safety requirements of the Standard Operating Procedures Manual. May be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), where applicable.

Qualifications

The technical specialty of this position is for aircraft prop and rotor systems. The applicant must be knowledgeable in the prop and rotor components of AH-64A/D, CH-47F, and UH-60A/L/M.

Must be highly proficient in duties respective to the position. Must be qualified in all facets of the prop and rotor systems maintenance and troubleshooting. Current on ARMY flight publications and maintenance techniques.

Extensive Depot level repair experience desired which includes the repair of components, requiring personnel of higher technical skill beyond the organizational level capability. Depot level tooling on site.

Experience: Highly proficient prop and rotor mechanic with a minimum of five (5) years hands on experience combined CH-47 and UH-60.

Education: High School graduate or equivalent.

Certifications: Valid North Carolina driver's license required.

Must be able to get a Common Access Card (CAC).

Must be able to obtain a NACI clearance.

Must have own tools in possession upon arrival for work.
