Fort Payne, AlabamaJob Summary:Drives gas powered yard truck or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, swing reach, clamps, elevating platform to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Positions forks, lifting platform or other lifting device under, over or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, materials and transports load to designated area
  • Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device
  • Pulls orders
  • Scans merchandise and locations using RF technology
  • Puts away merchandise to appropriate locations verified by the RF scanner
  • Operates equipment using The Children's Place and Cal OSHA safety standards
  • Completes equipment checklist before and after each use in order to verify condition of machine
  • Immediately reports any problems with the machines to the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Moves trailers to their designated area
