The Vice President of National Accounts builds strong hotel ownership and management group relationships and leverages those relationships to enhance the Towne Park brand, portfolio size and revenue in accordance with the company’s vision and values. The Vice President of National Accounts leads an effort designed around three basic principles:

1. Developing new business
2. Driving Same Store Sales at existing Business
3. Participating in the resolution of operational issues within a portfolio in an effort to assist with limiting attrition.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Cultivates and maintains ongoing hotel owner and management group relationships by assessing customer needs, understanding business requirements and developing client credibility that will support the four basic principles above.
• Identifies and develops growth opportunities within existing clients for additional products or services to expand and entrench our position with each client.
• Identifies, develops and closes growth opportunities at new hotels.
• Establishes productive, influential and professional relationships with key personnel at both the property and the c-suite level within the hotel groups.
• Leverages client and group relationships to further expand growth relationships and business across groups.
• Coordinates the involvement of company personnel with strategic account planning, including operations, business analysis, and management resources, in order to achieve growth performance objectives and meet customers’ expectations.
• Works closely with the business development team to generate qualified new sales opportunities.
• Works closely with operations to assess, respond and resolve operational issues at properties inside of National Accounts groups.
• Assists in the management of portfolio RFPs; helps to create detailed proposals to include compelling presentations as needed.
• Delivers strategic portfolio reports to clients that foster our relationships and lead to new and repeat business.
• Seeks opportunities to present high company introductions with both current and potential clients and throughout the hotel community.
• Participates in National group meetings and other ownership events such as seminars, trade shows, and hotel related industry events to promote Towne Park and expand our network.
• Represents understanding of customer’s business (strategy and operations).
• Consistently meets or exceeds growth sales objectives, monthly key performance indicators, and strategic objectives.

Communication
• Presents Towne Park’s value proposition, service line, reporting and corporate messaging in a professional and compelling way to clients, prospects and the healthcare community.
• Collaborates on marketing plans to expand Towne Park’s presence nationally and with specific groups.
• Monitors industry/trade and mainstream magazines and newspapers for relevant articles, opportunities and trends within and outside our industry.
• Identifies opportunities to communicate company initiatives internally and externally.
• Maintains a National Accounts deal tracker to assist in progress reporting for any and all opportunities dispatched to the sales managers.

Systems and Standards
• Consistently and effectively use CRM (Salesforce.com).
• Completes all tasks in a timely manner as instructed by the Senior Vice President of Business Development.
• Cooperates with senior management and coworkers to ensure that services can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of internal and external customers.
• Treats clients and associates with courtesy, respect and dignity.
• Maintains strict confidentiality related to company proprietary information.
• Fully understands the systems provided by Towne Park to control the assets and expenditures.

Safety and Risk Management
• Understands and follows safety and security procedures.
• Practices preventative safety procedures as set forth by Towne Park.
• Reports all accidents and incidents immediately to the Senior Vice President of Business Development
• Uses only equipment trained to use and operates all equipment in a safe manner
• Reports all potential high risk areas and safety concerns to the Senior Vice President of Business Development.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Strong ability in to understand account management, networking, presentation and sales ability.
• Proven ability to design and execute strategic account plans.
• Ability to effectively plan, set priorities, and manage many projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Self-starter, ability to plan and implement territory sales strategy with limited supervision.
• Demonstrates strong analytical skills with ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions and provide strategic advice and recommendations.
• Ability to thrive in a competitive, goal-driven environment.
• Ability to cold call and prospect for new National Accounts sales groups.
• Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) and various technology applications.
• Proven ability to understand and interpret fundamental workings and trends within a target industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present one-on-one or in group settings.
• Excellent written skills, including experience writing comprehensive business and functional requirements.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business policies, procedures, equipment manuals, training materials, and corporate communications.
• Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
• Demonstrating a high level of proficiency with building complex sales proformas and departmental Profit and Loss predictions.
• Desire to improve processes, take initiative and solve problems.
• Ability to persuade and influence others.
• Ability to represent the company effectively in a variety of settings with a demonstrated understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures.
• Ability to compose professional internal and external business communications including reports, memos, letters, and e-mails.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university and a minimum of seven (7) years of business development experience in the hospitality industry OR equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Knowledge of sales life cycle and selling techniques.
• Valid drivers license required due to requirements for local travel.
