About this job

Job Description:

  • Greet arriving guests, welcome them into the establishment and seat them, take reservations and help servers as needed

Typical Work Conditions:

  • Market Kitchen and Bar, outside seating

Equipment Used:

  • Commercial coffee maker, Micros, telephone, dishes, flatware, glassware, linens, trays, Open Table

Knowledge/Training:

  • Fluent English, read and write required
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Previous restaurant experience helpful
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Effectively communicate with others

Essential Tasks:

  • Monitor the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables
  • Estimating wait time for guests
  • Ensuring the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting
  • Answering the telephone, booking reservations and help with large party set up
  • Assisting servers with drink orders, clearing tables, replenishing the buffet, wiping down the buffet area, any other task as needed
  • Replenish gift shop as needed
  • Assist in monthly inventory
  • Assist Club on 9 if needed
