About this job
Eno's is seeking both entry-level and experienced prep cooks! . As a prep cook, you will be expected to execute recipes and ingredient preparation, ensure ingredient and dish quality, support line cooks during peak service times and assist dishwashers during slower periods, and thrive in a very fast-paced environment. Experience in similar pizza-focused concepts is a big plus. Pay is competitive and based on experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Executes all recipes and ingredient preparation for the day based on kitchen manager's forecasting
- Responsible for the production and quality of all ingredients, recipes, and dishes produced by his or her station
- Supports line cooks during busy service periods
- Assists with dishwashing duties during lunch and other slow periods
- Maintains and cleans all cooking and food storage apparatus necessary for the prep station including slicers, mixers, food processors, dough sheeter, refrigerators, stoves, ovens, and other equipment
- Follows all cleaning schedules and standards for the kitchen as determined by kitchen management including breakdown of station after service periods and working with all BOH staff to clean communal areas of the kitchen

- Demonstrate cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes
- Ability to remain standing for long periods of time. Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be Food Handler certified.
