Back of House: Prep/Line Cook - Full-time / Part-time

Fowl Play Roadside Chicken is a fast casual restaurant looking for motivated, energetic, and hardworking team members!

Overall Responsibilities

• Timely and friendly service to guests.

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

• Adherence to company sanitation standards.

• Strict adherence to posted schedule and clock in/out at times.

• Adherence to company uniform and grooming policies.

Specific Responsibilities

1. Must ensure that all food products have been prepared correctly before cooking and are cooked to perfection.

2. Follow proper rotation and recipes to meet restaurant’s standards

3. Maintains appropriate portion-control; including controlling and limiting waste

4. Cleans and stocks station as assigned, by the start of each meal period.

5. Cleans equipment, as assigned, thoroughly and in a timely fashion.

6. Keeps floor in work or service area clean and free of debris.

7. Completes shift work, as assigned, timely and thoroughly.

8. Prepare consistent, high-quality food in conformance with the restaurant’s standards.

9. Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen and workstation.

10. Maintain all kitchen equipment and utensils

11. Ability to retain thorough knowledge of our food and beverage items

12. Follow all health, safety, and restaurant regulations

13. Communicate problems and ideas to management.

14. Be a team player—support and assist your fellow team members whenever possible.

15. Ability to lift at least 30 pounds on a semi-regular basis and perform other diverse physical tasks as needed.

16. The ability to bend, stoop, stand and perform extensive walking up to 8-10 hours a day.
