As Team Leader, you will be engaged in the safe and efficient processing of incoming recyclable materials and outbound commodities. You will direct the activities of the team members and monitor system run time. While reporting directly to the Account Manager, you will effectively monitor other functions such as quality assurance and quality control. This challenging position places high value on effective teamwork, clear communication,initiative and intelligent judgment, maintaining production.
Industry: Warehouse/Distribution.
Duties: Lead the production team, mentor and motivate team members, ensuring individual and group productivity. Act as a communications hub for the team, disseminating pertinent and timely information. Schedule routine production functions, as well as special production needs. Work within the companies scheduling procedures to monitor production flow, ensuring output meets Republic Services targeted goals. Maintain and boost production efficiency, initiate and implement continuous improvement projects, train team members, and work with Shift supervisor to implement new processes.
