Description

Nike North American is looking for a high performing Brand Manager marketeer responsible for driving the brand plans for the Geo.

You will develop and execute marketing plans to maximize brand and business goals - through the full marketing mix.

Your overall goal is to amplify the Nike Brand stories, through consumer insights authentic to consumers through the lens of sport that transcend across the Geo.

Responsibilities:

  • As the NA Geo Brand Manager, you will create Geo relevant brand strategies to support the category offense.
  • Additionally, you will identify local insights and opportunities for Nike to enrich overall marketing seasonal concept map.
  • You will work cross category and cross functionally to build the overall seasonal narrative.
  • Work closely with the North America territory category teams to ensure that local insights, challenges and opportunities are heard and considered in the planning process
  • Work well in team environment with the potential of managing direct reports
  • Manage Demand Creation for category initiatives and category.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years marketing and campaign experience including strategy, delivery and creative thinking/idea generation experience.
  • Deep connection and understanding of the consumer, local/global trends and cultural insights.
  • Experience of analyzing market place, consumer and trends (2 +years).
  • Experience of working cross-functionally in a matrix organization.
  • Strong understanding of Training, Soccer, and Football (American) worlds.
  • Imperative to be able to lead agency partners from briefing process. through execution of brand experiences.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Outstanding leadership and coaching skills to lead functional teams, large cross-functional projects portfolio.
  • Practical experience of making public presentations (keynote and internal/public presentations).
  • Strong understanding and insights into the digital social landscape.
  • Possess critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to work with athletes and influencers.
