About this job

We make many types of breads. And to do that, we use a lot of different machines to form and package our breads. As an example, the dough comes from the mixing area and is processed through the machine and formed into dough balls, then dropped into trays for inspection and correct alignment before reaching the proof box and then baking. Being one of our more skilled positions, it would be great if you had a bit of mechanical ability. We move pretty fast here and change products all day long. You’ll be checking our doughs for correct weight and consistency before they get molded by our machines. Then there is even more checking for size before it gets baked. Teamwork is key here. There is data to be entered and a keen eye for product quality before passing the loaded racks to our Oven Operators is imperative.

We don’t require a High school diploma or GED but would always encourage you to move in that direction. It would be great if you can communicate in English with our Team Members (there is a lot information to be shared here). The work can get fast-paced so being adaptable to frequent changes on our production lines should be expected. There is lifting, sometimes heavy and you will be standing about 90% of your day. We may ask you to rotate a shift on occasion and (not that often) work on a holiday (we’ll make it worth your while).
We provide on-going training and development plans at all levels to prepare Team Members for growth and career advancement.
