About this job

A Meat Cutter is responsible for efficiently cutting and processing the complete variety of meat products to achieve maximum yield and gross profit according to Meat Standards, cleaning work areas, providing customer service unloading stock, and reloading salvage. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Responsibilities

  • Process fresh meat
  • Utilize & expand knowledge of primal meat cuts
  • Meet daily production goals
  • Ensuring that product is of high quality standards
  • Operate all equipment safely
  • Maintaining high safety sanitation standards always
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift to 60 lbs
  • Ability to manage time in a fast-paced industry
  • Ability to safely use necessary tools and equipment
  • Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment
  • Candidates must be reliable, responsible, and punctual, with a positive attitude and work well independently and with a team
