Position Summary:

Support day-to-day functions and perform duties/activities needed to achieve the highest standards in all areas of Fresh Eats food service area operations. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Motivate/support the team to carry out day-to-day operations in a manner that provides a food experience that surpasses customers’ expectations.
  • Train/develop new team members by providing a quality onboarding experience.
  • Support, uphold and enforce all company policies, as well as local, state and federal laws/regulations and local health department and company food safety standards.
  • Role model the Customer 1st strategy by creating an environment that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Work with team members to prepare menu selections and other fresh food items using proper equipment, specified recipe guidelines and food temperature logs.
  • Understand the store layout and be able to assist customers and other team members in locating products.
  • Educate associates about current, upcoming and special in-kitchen promotions.
  • Assist with implementing/supporting promotional plans developed for the food service area.
  • Monitor/control food service area expenses by minimizing product shrink, using utensils properly when preparing food and accurately scheduling associates to reflect the needs of the business.
  • Assist with the inventory process and maintain an awareness of inventory/stocking conditions, food cost, labor cost and waste management; record any inventory discrepancies.
  • Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures.
  • Maintain flexibility to work any shift.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • 2 years’ experience working in a quick serve restaurant or fresh food retail position
  • Proficient PC and Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong oral/written communication and customer service skills
Desired Previous Job Experience/Education:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Current food safety certification
