You'll fit in at ChildRoots if you genuinely love working with children and have experience as a babysitter, nanny, care provider, or teacher .
To work with us - or in any licensed Oregon child care center - you must be enrolled in Oregon's Central Background Registry. Also, within your first 30 days of employment, you'll need to have or obtain an Oregon Food Handler's Card and Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification. You'll also need to complete Oregon's Recognizing & Reporting Child Abuse & Neglect and Introduction to Child Care Health & Safety courses.
Roles start at $13.75/hour (rising to $14.00/hour September 1st), and we offer a great benefits package, opportunities for performance reviews and merit-based raises (up to $0.50/hour per review), annual bonuses, and paid time off to all employees.
