Greet/escort patients to exam rooms; obtain weight, height, BP, pulse, respiration and temperature on patients. Perform EKG’s, . Injections, venipuncture, first-aid, physician chaperoning, UA’s. Ear irrigations, accucheks, nebulizer treatments, throat cultures, urine pregnancies and vision testing.
Open/Closing of exam rooms, trash removal, maintaining cleanliness of exam rooms, stocking of supplies, maintaining medication sample supply, liaison for labs and pharmacies. Telephone triage, chart preparation, ICD-knowledge, scheduling, and insurance verification. Data entry, referrals, record keeping, and appointment confirmation and filing.
