As the Director of Merchant Services you will be charged with enhancing and developing our Merchant Services Division. This unit that will leverage the relationships that Dynamic Capital has created with merchants over the years to offer merchant services.  This position will lead the planning, budgeting, forecasting, staffing and continued growth of the merchant services unit.  The successful candidate will have a track record of managing and growing high performing sales teams within the merchant services industry.  This position will report progress and make recommendations on how to improve and grow the business to the executive leadership team. The candidate will need to demonstrate leadership skills and provide guidance in a continuous effort to improve the merchant services team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for effectively for hiring, training and managing the merchant services staff.

• Mentoring and development of staff as well as accountable for overall performance and success as it relates to sales growth.

• Help sales team analyze and properly manage their pipeline to optimize sales performance.

• Develop sales plans and goals for the organization.

• Maximize sales and growth by developing strategic sales initiatives internally.

• Develop sales strategy with production goals for each sales employee and assist with prospecting for new as well as developing business with existing merchants.

• Complete contract negotiations and work with all applicable parties to ensure success deal closings.

• Attend management meetings to report progress.

Preferred Qualities

• 5+ Years experience in merchant services.

• High energy and confident.

• People management and team building experience.

• Solid coaching abilities that understands how to motivate different personalities.

• Team player who is assertive, goal-oriented, positive and self-motivated

• Desire to work in a dynamic, fun, and fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in using computer applications

• High level of integrity

• Excellent communication skills

• Sense of humor

• Ability to speak Spanish is a plus! (But not required)
