MEAT GRINDER SUPERVISOR - Full-time / Part-time

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Assisting the production supervisor in the supervision and organization of the production staff;
• Ensure the product is properly processed while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and Customer Specifications;
• Setup, Startup, Run and control the Grinding line(s)
• Monitor line changes and consumables for the grind line
• Report any equipment issues and support preventative maintenance program
• Ensuring high quality production efficiency
• Working with supervisions to maintain adequate staff coverage
• Assist with staff scheduling, while ensuring quality product based on all specifications and internal and agency regulations.
• Work closely with safety to maintain a safe working environment and participates in safety training, including lock out/tag out.
• Records and reports employee attendance and performance, and assists Production Supervisors as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

MUST HAVE EXP. WITH USING A INDUSTRIAL MEAT GRINDER MACHINE!!!! THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS WORKED FOR A MEAT DISTRABUTION COMPANY

JOB REQUIRMENTS:

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Ability to read, write and speak English

   

Technical Skills:

• Ability to understand and comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)

• Grind line experience or Multivac experience

• Mechanically minded or experience in working with line machinery

• Worked in a production room environment with ground beef, lamb, pork or chicken.

Special Requirements:

• Ability to pass a Drug Test

• Ability to lift a maximum of 80 pounds.

• Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance

• Ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Understand and abide by all safety regulations as well as policies and procedure set forth by company

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays

• Ability to work in a cold environment (2 to 4 degrees Celsius)

SALARY IS $18 AND HIGHER DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE!!!! THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE INTO THE COMPANY
