Seafood Clerk - Full-time / Part-time

POSITION SUMMARY: This is a position responsible for helping customers with selecting the freshest seafood in town. Overtime hours, working weekends and holidays, and starting at various start times may be required in order to successfully meet customers’ needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Help customers with seafood selections
• Stock seafood cases every morning and continuously throughout the day.
• Maintain sanitary conditions at all times. Continuous cleaning is a must.
• Attend all required company meetings.
• Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Basic Qualifications

• Have exceptional customer service skills
• Pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check).
• Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations
• Have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years’ local food experience
• Previous experience in foodservice industry
