We are looking for Assistant General Manager to join the team in Burlington, VT.
Assistant General Manager Skills and Qualifications

• An associate degree or college education in restaurant and hospitality management or institutional food service management
• At least three years of experience with a fast casual dining establishment
• Leadership and time-management skills
• Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and procedures
• Demonstrated customer and personal service skills

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is responsible for supporting the General Manager in the management of the entire store’s operations.​

Principal Duties:

1. Supervise the day-to-day task assignments and performance for all management and associates.
2. Respond to customer complaints or inquiries. Solicit customer feedback, input and information through various communication vehicles. React to information and create a plan to consistently meet the expectations of all customers.
3. Manage all matters relating to associates and the team - recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, associate engagement and performance management.
4. Ensure the planning and execution of established safety, security, quality, and store operations policies, procedures and practices.
5. Analyze results and trends and prepares action plans to leverage the store’s strengths and address areas of opportunity. Ensure the execution of all action plans.
6. Plan and prepare work schedules and coordinate daily assignments and activities of associates to meet the needs of the business.
7. Ensure safety program execution and fulfill the store safety leader role.
8. Ensure future growth by executing a defined strategy to deliver the long range plan.
