Job Description

Under the direction of the company Fleet Manager, the Interior Group Team Leader is responsible for the daily execution of all interior maintenance and repairs to our fleet. You will lead a team of 3-5 interior technicians, manage the assignment and completion of their daily tasks and be responsible for the overall condition of the interiors within our fleet of Luxury Entertainer Coaches.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties include the following:

  • Professional dress and appearance at all times
  • The ability to commit to a fundamental goal of client satisfaction
  • Must have a Keen eye to detail
  • Manage 3-5 interior technicians on a daily basis
  • Perform, direct and oversee all interior repairs, maintenance, and various remodel projects
  • Complete all new unit 60 day inspection reports and submit to Fleet Manager
  • Participate in daily QC inspections
  • Attend weekly Team Leader meetings
  • Assist Fleet Manager in the ongoing development of preventative maintenance schedules and scopes of work for regular interior service intervals
  • Continually analyze fleet interior condition and make recommendations for needed repairs
  • Estimate cost and time required for major repairs
  • Promote continued process improvement and client satisfaction
  • Minimize OTR repairs and catastrophic failures
  • Responsible for maintaining fleet interior quality and client expectations
  • Annually identify, recommend and report needed repairs to Fleet Manager in order to maintain DC quality standars.
  • Understand and comply with company safety practices including DOT, EPA, ICC and OSHA rules and regulations

Required Experience:

  • Common sense and proven problem solving ability
  • Geeral knowledge of construction means and methods in a residential environment
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Working knowledge of woods, laminates and various other interior finishes
  • General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, low voltage, audio & video systems
  • Superintending
  • Proven mechanical aptitude
  • 5+ years of experience in a related industry or position
  • Successful track record and continuous improvement projects
  • Basic computer skills, including email; adept with computer applications
  • Be proficient in written and verbal communication
