We are looking for a motivated team member to be part of a dynamic Assembly team and assist the Engineering Lab as needed. Selected candidates will be responsible for completing basic assembly operations using required manufacturing documentation. Light assembly work is required for the position, but a qualified individual will mainly be performing extensive SMT soldering work. You’ll need to be quality conscious and have a mechanical aptitude with good dexterity. In this position you will be soldering, reading from blueprints and using microscopes and/or magnification apparatus on a daily basis. Previous experience in using magnification apparatus and working with close tolerance components is a plus.

You’ll need:
• A High School diploma or equivalent
• To be self-motivated and able to multitask
• Demonstrated experience in SMT soldering, with the ability to rework and solder components
• Ability to use a microscope
• Ability to work overtime when needed
• IPC 7711 and/or IPC 7721 Soldering Certification is preferred, but not required

U.S. citizen or permanent resident status is required.
