Verizon Wireless Sales Consultant / Manager - Full-time / Part-time

POSITION PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to provide an exceptional customer experience to each customer that walks into our locations. We are seeking dynamic and personable representatives to maximize sales and satisfy customer needs. We are seeking exceptional representatives seeking to grow their earning potential and will be considering a select number of employees for managerial positions in our current and future locations.

LOCATION: Tampa, FL

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Meet sales goals by selling our products and services to new and existing customers
• Sell Verizon Wireless products and services to consumers
• Demonstrate the functionality of Verizon Wireless technologies and show users how to maximize available features
• Conduct outbound follow-up calls to potential and existing customers via e-mail and telecommunications in order to qualify leads and offer relevant products and services
• Effectively present products and services to and develop relationships with potential clients
• Handle all administrative aspects of the sale including but not limited to: completing customer contracts and warranties, pulling products from inventory, accepting customer payments and filing the completed orders
• Stay up to date with product knowledge, accessories, pricing plans, promotions, and service features through continuous learning and self-development
• Know the market by keeping up with competitive offers and be able to provide market feedback to the Manager regarding local competition and product/service needs

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Degree is required, an Associate’s Degree (AA) or Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) is preferred and 1-2 years of wireless experience is preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills are required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of one year of relevant sales experience and bonus points if you have Verizon wireless, wireless or commissioned sales experience
• Experience selling in a commission-structured environment
• Reads and interprets documents such as operating instructions and procedure manuals. Routinely writes detailed reports and correspondence and responds to questions and/or complaints. Routinely speaks effectively before groups of customers, clients, and managers and/or employees of organization
• Routinely solves practical problems and deals with a variety of concrete variables in situations where standardization exists. Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• The ability to effectively deal with rapidly changing situations and integrate factual information into solutions while building relationships
• Strong verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong computer skills and well as rudimentary knowledge of cellular phone technologies is required
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Must be able work evenings, weekends and holidays, according to a variable schedule
• Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor
