Flooring Sales and Estimation Rep

We are seeking a Flooring Sales And Estimation Rep to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and identify customer needs
• Explain products and services to customers
• Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
• Enter and process customer orders
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build rapport with customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills

R&S Flooring in Hoover is looking for a flooring sales rep/estimator! This is one of the more important posisitions we have, and a great opportunity to earn a lot! Our Sales Rep posisition is an in-home estimator who will go in and measure up the floors being done, discuss different options with customers with some opportunity for upsales, and figuring out the best flooring options for their situations.

After the estimation, you will need some background in computers and some basic math skills to write up and send out the quotes to the customers by e-mail using our quickbooks system. Some background in flooring or construction would be a huge plus, but is not a neccesity to do the job. On-job training and assistnace will be provided. Posistion is full-time with a base salary and comission. After 30 days full benefits are available. A vehicle and gas card will be provided to you.
