Job Description

Treat America (dba Company Kitchen), a leader in food service management is looking for an experienced and customer service oriented Merchandiser to assist with our micro markets and vending accounts. The majority of time will be spent out in the market, merchandising our Company Kitchen stores and ensuring each store is in compliance with the standards set by our company.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the initial set up, filling, and merchandising of new Company Kitchen stores to include close interaction with the customer, demonstrating how to use the kiosk.
  • Use existing software to create planograms, generate product orders, and print price tags for new stores
  • Work with various computer programs and handheld devices to gather and record data accurately.
  • When directed, execute product changes and resets  and update any promotional point of sale materials or price tags
  • Perform an accurate inventory of the store(s); this could become a majority of the workweek at given times
  • Perform regular inspections of the stores to ensure compliance with any policies and/or SOP’s.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous industry experience in convenience store, grocery, or retail product merchandising is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours based on business needs
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; good problem solving and strong leadership skills
  • Must be detail oriented and accurate, and be able to recognize improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and/or interact with team members at all levels and promote teamwork
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and maintain flexibility in a fast paced, service oriented environment.
  • Proven track record of integrity
  • Proficient computer skills with intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Excel.
  • Other required activities include: Seeing; Standing/Walking; Fingering/Grasping/Feeling;
  • Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling.
  • Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 35 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
