Retail Sales Associate

As a running specialist your mission will be to deliver a premium consumer experience by building the bond between the customer and our store with the highest level of service and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Be awesome. Create energy. Inspire those around you. Be fun. Elevate the Runner’s High brand!
• Build relationships with customers by understanding their needs.
• Be a storyteller, and a fantastic listener who gets to the core of customers’ needs and makes them feel at home, regardless of their athletic ability.
• Develop a keen ability to understand and empathize with customers and those aspiring to be active.
• Be comfortable in interacting with a wide range of people, from walkers to brand new runners and elite athletes.
• Guide consumers in their selection and purchase of their gear.
• Connect with the community and share the latest events with customers in a personal way.
• Provide customers with a high quality sales transactions.
• Promote our programs, including customer loyalty program participation.
• Participate in any and all store sales floor/stock area merchandising and clean-up as necessary.

About you:

• You’re passionate about health, fitness and running.
• You’re are personable, charismatic and a great listener.
• You possess excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
• You inspire and build trust, resulting in effective working relationships with consumers, employees, and other members of the community.

Requirements and Compensation

Experience is not required; what is necessary is a passion for fitness, a great attitude, and a flexible schedule. We will teach you everything you need to know in order to assist our customers with their search for the perfect shoe.

Evenings and Weekends are required - do not apply if you cannot work weekends.

Part-time (24-32 hours). There is room for growth for the right candidate, can lead to Full-Time.

$10hr + commission

Other compensation includes, free gear such as running shoes and apparel, and free entries to races and events in town.
