Store Associate

We are seeking a stores associate to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for working closely with suppliers, maintaining contracts, inventory counts, tracking metrics, and other duties as deemed necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers
• Keep contract files and use them as referenced for the future
• Forecast inventory levels of demand for services and products
• Keep a constant check on stock levels, now and maintain critical and repairable items, rotate and maintain stock
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Pick up and make deliveries
• Maintain repairable spares
• Operate a forklift
• Prepare outbound shipments
• Conduct physical inventory counts

Qualifications

• eligible to legally work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED
• B.S. in related field preferred
• Knowledge of CMMS, Project/Planning
• Proficiency in use of personal computers and MS Office Suite are required
• Experience in stores management, purchasing and/or inventory control
• Must be able to work overtime as required, available all hours
• Mechanical/Electrically Inclined
• Valid Driver's License
• Travel domestically and internationally

Working conditions

• All roles require a person to work in conditions such as heat, cold, snow, rain, ice, frost, humidity, severe storms and so forth. Special working conditions include regular and evening and weekend work, shift work, working outdoors, working as a team regardless of challenge, and so forth. Exposure to noise, dirt, grease, water, and sawdust is common. Personal Protection Equipment(PPE) is required in our facility.

Physical requirements

• Standing/walking - working on feet, standing and walking on uneven surfaces outside
• Sitting - able to sit for extended periods of time
• Able to grasp lightweight materials (less than 5lbs) on a regular basis
