Residential Solar Project Manager

Residential Solar Project Manager prepares permit submittal packages for HOA’s and AHJ’s, works together with jurisdictions relevant to solar projects, ensures that all parties are working in conjunction with each other, and coordinates all scheduling.

Responsibilities:

• Control the project from contract to commissioning
• Provide administrative support
• including organization and maintenance of project folders,
• upload pictures
• completion of projects
• light administrative work
• Control day-to-day scheduling with customers and vendors
• Prepare permit submittal packages in per jurisdictional mandates
• Track jurisdiction specific requirements and disseminate to the team
• Customer interaction:
• Answers questions
• Document their needs
• Share solutions
• Initial contact through interconnection

Requirements

• Understand utility, permitting and other external lead times
• Minimum 1 years experience in residential SOLAR project management, planning and coordination
• Highly proficient in computer technology and quick learner of new computer-based programs
• Excellent people skills
• Able to work continuously in a fast paced environment
• Attention to detail

Preferences (But Not Required)

• Any level of NABCEP certification
• Knowledge of residential and commercial solar construction
• Exposure to PV Design and Installation processes
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)

Compensation

50-65k annually DOE plus bonuses + retirement package
