Merchandiser/Sales - Galesburg, IL

We have an excellent opportunity at our Galesburg, IL location for a bright self-starter who loves to interact with customers, be creative and solve problems.

The Merchandiser/Sales rep is responsible for improving sales of all company products within the on and off-premise channel by building displays and placing POS (point of sales) materials to drive revenue and growth.

Responsibilities

• Maintain product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts while establishing and maintaining professional relationships and exceptional customer service to key store individuals.
• Build thematic and creative displays and ensure neatly-merchandised displays and shelves with the right mix and amount of product
• Properly rotate product on the shelf and ensure accurate pricing
• Complete daily merchandise account worksheets to disclose all out of stock, shelf-outs and time spent merchandising accounts.

Requirements

• Previous merchandising or sales experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelors degree preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, time management and customer service skills
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must have reliable automobile transportation, maintain an acceptable driving record and valid drivers license, and maintain auto insurance coverage
• Able to work flexible hours with some evenings and weekends
• Must be able to lift 25 to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Must pass pre-employment physical, background check and drug test.
