Division Profile:

Wealth Management Risk is responsible for overseeing the risk and control framework within the WM business unit. The group partners with the various business units as well as the Firm Risk Management group to implement control processes and procedures and protect the Firm from exposure to various risks including operational, conduct, credit, investment, trading, reputational and model risk.

Position Summary:

Wealth Management Risk is seeking an Initiatives & Analytics Associate within the Office of the COO. The individual should be thoughtful and solutions-oriented, interested in operating in a dynamic environment and comfortable with engaging senior stakeholders on a regular basis. This role will work closely with and report to the COO of Wealth Management Risk and will be based in Purchase, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

The Initiatives & Analytics Associate will support Wealth Management Risk in several areas, including:

* Business Initiatives: Work closely with the COO of Wealth Management Risk in driving various key strategic initiatives with respect to Wealth Management businesses

* Regulatory Interactions: Help coordinate regular discussions with and examinations by the Federal Reserve and other regulators

* Financial Analysis: Create and maintain forecasts and other financial analyses to facilitate budget and resource management

* Strategic Presentations: Develop strategic and operational presentations for divisional and Firm senior management

* Special Projects: Other tasks in support of the day-to-day operations of the WM Risk organization

Required Skills:

* 3 years' experience in risk management, financial industry and/or business management. Knowledge related to risk management and Wealth Management strongly preferred

* Excellent verbal/written communication skills with ability to tailor message to audience

* Proven ability to work across departments to influence others and build strong relationships

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and possess a strong sense of accountability/ownership

* Detail-oriented and thorough with strong organizational skills

* Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

* Outstanding time management skills and sound judgment

* Proficiency in all Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
